This article shows owners and admins how to change a client's session credits and how to deactivate a client who has left. Every change is recorded in the client's Credit history. Deactivated clients don't count toward your plan's active client limit, and their history is kept.
Warning: Deactivating a client doesn't cancel their upcoming sessions or their Stripe membership. Always cancel upcoming sessions on Calendar and the membership in Stripe first.
Before you begin#
- Sign in as the owner or an admin.
- Know how many credits to add or remove and why.
Add or remove credits#
- Go to Clients and select the client.
- Find Credit balance.
- Enter a whole number in Adjust (+/−): +1 to add one session, -2 to remove two.
- Add a Note, for example Goodwill credit or Moved from old system.
- Select Apply. You'll see Credits updated.
Deactivate or reactivate a client#
- Open the client from Clients.
- Scroll to Deactivate this client and select Deactivate.
- To bring them back, select Reactivate under Reactivate this client.
| Active | Deactivated | |
|---|---|---|
| Can sign in, book and buy | Yes | No |
| Gets broadcast messages | Yes | No |
| Counts toward your client limit | Yes | No |
| Bookings, payments and credits | Kept | Kept |
Common mistakes#
Entering 0 or a decimal#
You'll see Enter a non-zero whole number of credits. Use whole numbers such as 1 or -1.
Leaving out the note#
The note shows in Credit history and helps you and your team remember why the balance changed.
Reactivating when you're at your limit#
If you're at your plan's client limit, you'll see Your plan's client limit has been reached — upgrade to reactivate this client.
Giving credits to fix a payment problem#
If the client paid twice, refund the duplicate instead. See How to refund a client's purchase.
Credit changes show on the client's portal and in the Levflex app straight away.
