Why I'm not seeing open sessions
An empty schedule usually means a trainer filter is on, you're looking past what the gym has published, or the open times are full or premium-only.
2 min readUpdated November 3, 2026
The Book page only shows times your gym has opened for booking that still have spots. If the schedule looks empty, a filter is usually hiding times, or your gym hasn't published that far ahead yet. Work through the checks below before contacting your gym.
Warning: A preferred trainer filter can result in an empty schedule even when other trainers have open times. Always select Show any trainer or Any trainer first.
Before you begin#
- Sign in at the right gym.
- Note which trainer, week or month you're looking at.
Steps#
- Select Show any trainer on the web, or tap Any trainer in the app.
- Look at later weeks. On the web, use This Week, Next Week, In 2 Weeks and In 3 Weeks, or switch to Calendar to see up to 2 months ahead.
- Tap another day in the app's Days row, or Next month.
- Check whether times show Full or Started. Those can't be booked.
- Contact your gym if there are still no times. The gym adds its availability.
Why times might be missing#
| Reason | What you'll see | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Trainer filter on | [name] has no open sessions | Select Show any trainer |
| Too far ahead | An empty week or No open sessions left in a month | Try an earlier week, or ask when the gym publishes new times |
| Slots full | Full on each time | Pick another day |
| Premium-only times | Not shown to standard members | Book standard times |
| The gym hasn't added times | Empty everywhere | Contact your gym |
Common mistakes#
Forgetting a preferred trainer is set#
Booking starts with your preferred trainer's times. If they're away or fully booked, the page can look empty. Change it in Account under Preferred trainer.
Checking a session that already started#
Times that have started can't be booked, even if they look open. The slot shows Started.
Looking at the wrong gym#
If you train at more than one gym, each has its own schedule and account. Check the gym name at the top of the screen.
Expecting the schedule to show times you can't book#
Times you already hold show Booked, and times that overlap another of your bookings show Booked then. They stay on the list so you can see them, but you can't book them again.
