When client payments reach your bank
Stripe sends client payments to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule; see each payout on Settings → Payments → Payouts.
2 min readUpdated November 3, 2026
When a client pays, the money goes to your Stripe balance, and Stripe sends it to your bank on its payout schedule. Levflex never holds your money. Your first payout usually takes longer than later ones while Stripe sets up your account.
Warning: Refunds and disputes are taken from your Stripe balance and can result in a smaller payout, or a negative balance taken from your bank. Always check the Payouts tab before you count on a deposit.
How payouts work#
| Step | Where it shows |
|---|---|
| Client pays for a pack, membership or session | Payments → Client payments, and the Payments tab on Settings → Payments |
| Payment becomes available in Stripe | Stripe balance, after Stripe's processing time |
| Stripe sends a payout | Settings → Payments → Payouts |
| Money arrives in your bank | Your bank statement, named Stripe or your business name |
Stripe sets the timing. For most US accounts, the first payout arrives about 7–14 days after the first payment, and later payouts follow on a rolling schedule of about 2 business days. Your exact schedule is on the Payouts tab.
What comes out before you're paid#
- Stripe's processing fees, per payment.
- Refunds you issue.
- Disputes (chargebacks) clients raise with their bank.
Changing the schedule#
Go to Settings → Payments → Account, or select Open Stripe dashboard ↗, to change the payout schedule or bank account. The schedule is yours. Levflex changes it only to pause payouts during a security check, and then puts it back exactly as it was (see What a security hold is and what it pauses).
Common mistakes#
Expecting a payout the same day#
Payments take time to become available. A payment on Friday often arrives the following week.
Looking for payouts on Billing#
Billing is what you pay Levflex. Payouts are on Settings → Payments → Payouts.
Changing bank details just before a payout#
A new bank account can be checked by Stripe and delay the next payout. Change it after a payout lands.
If a payout is late, see Your Stripe payouts are missing or late.
