How to sync your personal calendar

Connect the calendar you keep appointments in, and clients can't book you whenever it shows you as busy. Only busy times are used, never what your appointments are. It refreshes on its own every half hour, and a client already booked keeps their session.

Before you begin#

• A Google account, or the private iCal (.ics) address of your Outlook, Apple or other calendar.
• Each team member connects their own calendar.

Connect Google Calendar#

1. Go to Calendar and select Connect your personal calendar.
2. Select Google Calendar and sign in to Google.
3. Check your calendar is listed under Connected.

Connect with an iCal address#

1. Copy the private .ics link from your calendar:
   • Outlook / Microsoft 365: Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → Publish a calendar → copy the ICS link.
   • Apple Calendar: right-click the calendar → Share Calendar → Public Calendar → copy the link.
   • Google (without signing in): Settings → your calendar → Secret address in iCal format.
2. Go to Calendar → Connect your personal calendar.
3. Enter a Name and paste the iCal address.
4. Select Connect calendar.

Common mistakes#

Expecting appointment titles on the gym calendar#

Levflex only reads busy times. Your busy times show as shaded personal time.

Waiting for an update#

Updates happen every half hour. Select Sync now to refresh immediately.

Pasting a non-public link#

The link must be the private iCal address, ending in .ics. A normal share link won't work.

Troubleshooting#

• Does the Calendar chip say Personal calendar needs attention?
  • Yes
    The link stopped working. Disconnect and connect it again with a fresh address.
  • No
    Continue.
• Are busy times still bookable?
  • Yes
    Select Sync now. Check the appointment isn't all-day and is marked busy, not free.
  • No
    You're done.

When connected, the chip on Calendar reads Personal calendar connected.
