Why the app says your gym is unavailable
App access is off means your gym switched off the Levflex app. Use its website instead. Update required means you need the latest version of the app.
2 min readUpdated November 3, 2026
Each gym chooses whether its members can use the Levflex app. If your gym turns the app off, the app shows App access is off and signs you out, but your account, credits and bookings are safe. You can keep booking on your gym's website. Other messages, like Update required or offline notices, have their own quick fixes below.
Warning: Creating an account at a different gym to get back into the app can result in a separate account without your credits. Always use your gym's website while app access is off.
Before you begin#
- Know your gym's website address, which often looks like yourgym.levflex.com.
- Have the latest version of the Levflex app from the App Store or Google Play.
Steps#
- Read the message on screen and find it in the table below.
- Tap Open [gym] website if the app says App access is off.
- Sign in on the website with the same email and password.
- Book and manage your account on the website as usual.

Common mistakes#
Thinking your account was deleted#
App access is off only affects the app. Your account, credits, bookings and membership are unchanged and work on the website.
Reinstalling the app to fix it#
Reinstalling won't help when the gym has turned the app off. The fix is on the gym's side, or use the website.
Ignoring an update#
When Update required shows, the app won't book until it's updated. Updating keeps your sign-in and gym.
Waiting in the app for access to come back#
The app doesn't check again on its own while app access is off. If your gym tells you it has switched the app back on, open the app, choose your gym again and sign in.
