How to sign a contract from your gym

Your gym can send you a contract to sign online, for example a fixed-term membership. You read it in full, agree to electronic records and sign by typing your full legal name. After you sign, your gym countersigns it and you get the completed copy by email. Contracts can have a sign-by date, so sign it before it passes.
Warning: Signing a contract can result in a membership you can't cancel online until the contract ends. Always read the term, price and early-ending terms before you select Sign contract.
Before you begin#
- Look for the banner [gym] has sent you a contract to sign in the portal, or Contracts to sign in the app.
- Set aside a few minutes to read the full text.
- Know your full legal name as you want it on the contract.
On the web#
- Select Read & sign on the contract banner, or open Contracts from the account menu.
- Read the contract text in full.
- Tick I agree to use electronic records and signatures.
- Type your name in Your full legal name. Typing your name is your electronic signature.
- Draw your signature under Draw your signature (optional) if you like.
- Select Sign contract.
In the Levflex app#
- Tap Read & sign under Contracts to sign. It opens in your browser, already signed in.
- Follow steps 2 to 6 above.
- Return to the app when you see All set. Head back to the app.
Contract statuses#
| What you see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Read & sign | Waiting for your signature |
| You signed this on a date | Signed by you, waiting for the gym to countersign |
| Signed by both of you | Complete. The copy is emailed to you |
| The sign-by date has passed | Ask your gym to send it again |
| [gym] withdrew this contract | Nothing to sign |
Common mistakes#
Letting the sign-by date pass#
Once the date passes, you can't sign that copy. Ask your gym to send it again.
Expecting the contract to be complete straight away#
After you sign, the gym countersigns it. Until then it shows as signed by you only. The completed copy arrives by email once both of you have signed.
Not keeping a copy#
You can view or print a signed contract at any time. Open Contracts and select View / print, or View signed copy on the contract page.
